Curious - does anyone know what the average revenue is from one pain patient new consult? I am constructing a pro forma and i have all the numbers. I just don't know how to extrapolate how much i can generate per patient when submitting this to hospital admin. thanks in advance

RVU or CMS based numbers?

RVU: Just plug in 99204 for NP and 99214 for consult, also works for all CPT codes.

sweets what are you talking about? Just how much you get reimbursed for a new patient visit? Or how much you can generate from adding a new patient to your practice? The words "revenue" and "generate" in the context of your question confuse me

Club - your second phrase is correct. if i bring in 1 new patient into a pain clinic, what do they generate on average? that way i can extrapolate it to 200 and 2000

99214 is for an office visit.

99244 is a consult code

you must not have a lot of Medicare patients. Medicare doesnt accept 99244.
