Salutation

It's a little late to ask, since my letters have long since been submitted, but I was wondering what is the more acceptable salutation for recommendation letters. Did you tell your LOR writers just to say "Dear Admissions Committee", or did you look up the name of each individual Dean and/or Director of Admissions to make it less generic?

That would be fine, To Whom It May Concern would also work.

You could always stick with the classic "Whaddup, dawg?"

I hear adcoms really enjoy it when letters begin that way.
