I have seen a few job listings for part-time pharmacist jobs with CVS in my area, but I wanted to know how the scheduling works. I am primarily interested in working overnight and on weekends (~20 hrs/wk). Are those times that generally need floater coverage?

Depends on your area... Apply and ask when they email you to set up an interview.

The key is to get that interview to indicate your interests. Even though my weekends are easier than weekdays, I'd gladly give up some of them. Weekends and overnight are most difficult to cover in my area. But all in all, it will depend on how saturated the area is and if the scheduler is smart enough to have setup something steady for you.

You are not likely to get overnights as a regular part of your schedule. Weekends are possible.
