School List Help? GPA 3.70, MCAT 503 URM

These are the schools I have so far i need to cut down like 5-7 schools. GA resident with alot of research, volunteer experience, and leadership experience . Any advice would help thank you.

  4. Stanford
  5. UCLA-Drew
  6. Emory
  7. Georgetown
  8. George Washington
  9. Morehouse
  10. Mercer medical school
  11. University of Miami
  12. University of North carolina at chapel Hill
  13. Wake forest school of medicine
  14. Case western school of medicine
  15. Tufts university
  16. Drexel University
  17. Tufts medical school
  18. Kaiser Medical school
  19. Rosalind Franklin
  20. New York Medical College
  21. Albert einstein medical school
  22. The University of Central Florida College of Medicine
  23. University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
  24. Saint Louis University School of Medicine
  25. Albany medical school
  26. West Virginia University School of Medicine
  27. Tulane school of medicine

Which URM community are you from ? If Hispanic are you fluent in Spanish ? What are your sGPA and cGPA ? What are your MCAT scores ?

Hi thanks for the response! I am African American Female. My science is 3.62 and my cGPA is 3.70. Mcat scores are 124/124/126/129

Unless you attended U Washington or are a former resident remove that school. Also remove Stanford and Case Western since your MCAT is not competitive for those schools. UNC accepts few non residents with no connection to the state. You should receive several interviews from the other schools on your list.

Stanford was just my throwaway school to get verified. I was a former resident for WA. Thank you for the advice!
 
FYI I believe Emory screens out applicants who have a MCAT subsection under 125.

Edit: just rechecked and it’s actually under 123. So just ignore this lol. You should be good to go.

Never mind -- I thought you were cutting down TO 5-7 schools, not eliminating 5-7!! :)
