I think your app is solid not amazing but solid. I expect an MD acceptance if you interview well.

Thoughts on schools :
Meharry is a hbc so unless your African American I wouldn't bother.

Otherwise I would apply to one or two dos as a safety. But your app looks good congrats.

Check your list for mission's and how many people they accept that are OOS/not already part of their program, substitute out those schools.

You might want to take off Columbia (unless it's your dream school), your stats/EC's are nowhere near what they usually accept. Otherwise, your list looks ok.

Be careful about schools that have a bulk of BS/MD candidates. Also, be mindful of schools that may appear to be stats-friendly but are in actuality rather low-yield. Other than those comments, your list is pretty solid! Best of luck! :luck:

Cool! Thanks for the help guys. I will remove Columbia and Meharry.

All the other schools are okay though?
And I'm not missing any obvious schools to include, right?
THANKS!

This looks like a very good list. I have similar stats to you (slightly lower MCAT, higher GPA's) and I have come up with almost an identical list. Keep in mind Illinois is super expensive for OOS. I would suggest other publics in the Midwest as they seem to be more OOS friendly as well as cheaper.

I think you should have more DO schools on the list with a 3.6. It's easy to see how you could not get a single interview invite with that school list and those stats.
