These have been a hot topic on my rotations thus far and it makes sense in terms of stratifying risk/deciding on treatment, etc

What scoring systems have you been using/pimped on/exposed to?

I'll start it off

CHADS2/CHA2DS2-VASc for annual stroke risk in pts with afib

Ranson criteria for pancreatitis prognosis

Well's criteria for PE/DVT

MELD score for end stage liver disease

Duke criteria for endocarditis
