Should I try to get a pharm tech job at a hospital?

I know the job outlook for pharmacist isn't that good any more and most jobs are in retail but will getting a job as an hospital pharm tech help me in getting a hospital pharmacist position? And will they transition me into an intern if I get into pharm school?

How hard is it to get a job as a Hospital intern without hospital experience? Do hospital convert there interns into Pharmacists? I'm asking because I work retail right now and its not that bad. They let me work one day a week. I don't think other pharmacies will allow me to do so if I want to leave.

How hard is it to get a job as a Hospital intern without hospital experience?
Depends on the place.
During my rotation of last school year, I really went above and beyond to impress my preceptor that he offered intern job to me and when my roommate had the same rotation with the same great impression, preceptor also offered intern job. Both of us had no hospital experience and the rotation was truly the best job interview!
