Hi all,
Anyone on the board have experience taking the Ohio oral exam for licensure? I'm scheduled in a few weeks and have heard mixed things regarding intensity of the questions.

In general, oral licensing exams are going to focus on 1) ethical/legal practice 2) evidence based practice 3) being properly educated.

Like with any communications that focus on a difference in power, be differential, respectful, etc.

You'll be fine.

I believe it is 100% focused on OH law and ethics. Like many stayed, if you read and know the booklet...you should do fine. Each state has some wrinkles (e.g. Duty to warn v. Duty to protect), so make sure to know them.

It has been a while now, but when I took it, you needed to be able to regurgitate the lists in the study materials. Some of my friends thought you just needed to understand the lists. You actually have to memorize them. Good luck!
