I could not find a good study on this on pubmed.

Does anyone know of a good study on this?

Can someone comment on their experience? What about SCS?

thank you

I've placed some epidurals running low amounts of local to help heal foot wounds. Works well.

? ?
LSB for wound healing. How long is the LA effect going to last? Keep the extremity warm and that will give the vasodilation and the extra blood supply. SCS is c/ind due to an open wound which may be infected.

We would do a set of LSB with local only every week for 3 weeks. If there was any improvement, then a LSB with alcohol ablation which typically lasts 1- 2 months ... great results though.

For CYA, we would get ID to clear the patient before starting the blocks and cover the patient with the recommended A/B on the day of the block. Pt would then do the hyperbaric O2, PT and other wound healing stuff. Gratifying to see results during successive visits.

Thought about SCS ... but did not proceed due to infection risk.
