I am taking a graduate level course in Pathophysiology, web-based, used Pathophysiology: The Biological Basis for Disease in Adults and Children 5th ed. 1700+ pages and we will cover it all this semester. I have a good feeling this is what med school will be like times how many ever classes I have. Has anyone taken this course? What are some effective study methods that helped? Maybe I should ask someone in the allo forum?

When I have taught pathophys to paramedic and nursing students, I always encouraged them to draw pictures... see saws for acid/base balance, illustrations for cell usage of K, Na, in-and-out, arrows to show cause/effect, etc.

Cuz really that's all path is--- something changes that affects something else, something goes up so something else goes down, etc.

A few saved those pictures and showed them to me years later. Something about being visual learners I guess.
