Transcript matching form and timing

I will be applying this cycle. I have everything ready to go. My PS is complete, LORs received and am waiting for my committee letter to be finalized. I am taking the DAT on 6/25 (gave myself 8 weeks to study full-time between the end of the semester and testing date).

I know I need to get transcript matching forms submitted to the 2 schools where I've taken undergrad classes and I'll do that as soon as the cycle opens. Is it best to take this form personally to each school (fortunately I live close by)? I hate leaving things up to mail/fax/email. I'm not crazy about waiting on a committee letter either!

Generally speaking, how long does it take for your transcripts to get submitted and your GPAs verified?

If you live close by, I'd probably drop it off, request transcripts in person and give them clear instructions to include the form in the envelope.
