Hi. I'm thinking about taking 2 years prerequisite courses and transfer to pharmacy school.
Can anyone explain to the transferring process?
I plan to apply at far-away schools. Would I have to go there physically?

If anyone could explain the requirement etc,(Application, essay, interview required?),
that would be great. Thank you.

Agree. From what I see here of this discussion:
Step 1. Take pre-pharmacy classes.
Step 2. APPLY for ADMISSION into pharmacy school.

(Some pharmacy schools accept you to do all classes, pre-pharmacy and core pharmacy classes all in 1 school from start to end: 5, 6 years....I think University of the Pacific for example.

Good.

Transferring means Applying, keep reading for more info below here...or read more posts at PRE-PHARMACY forum, they are more helpful as they have the latest application info compared to old time pharmacists who applied 6 or 16 years ago:

Yes and No. I heard, in the long distance past, some schools may fly to meet a group of students....But that depends on the school.

Start learning all the steps at
www.pharmcas.com

http://www.pharmcas.com/school-directory/#/pharmd/general-information

Each school has its own requirements of classes, application, essay or not, interview location...Please see attached file for quick reference (Retrieved on 04-19-2015 from http://www.aacp.org/resources/stude...-15 PharmacyPre-RequisiteInformation xlsx.pdf )

that would be great. Thank you.
Good luck and remember to volunteer...
