I think it sounds like fun to spend residency in proximity to Bourbon St I have never heard anything about Tulane's residency program - I assume that means it isn't very strong. Did anybody interview there / know anything about the Tulane program?

Applied (for geographic reasons) and never heard a word back. Nothing, nada, zilch. Not even a vomit-encrusted postcard or snapshot of Anne Rice showing her junk.

One of the path residents here did med school at LSU - New Orleans and informed me that their path program and Tulane's share physical lab space, although they each have their own attendings. Sounded pretty bizarre to me. The word around the campfire (albeit a very small campfire) was that Tulane's path program had a strong tendency to take people from its own med school.

Now that I've given you almost zero useful or reliable information, on to another Natural Light...
