Hello, I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong part of the forum. I recently acquired an internship, where i work under wound specialists. It's absolutely brutal, it doesn't have to take me so long, but a large part of it involves transcribing illegible patient diagnoses, meds, icd codes and risk factors for said diagnoses.

I was wondering if anyone more experienced with this could just list some common ones just so i could make some of the chicken scratch out, especially typical nursing home diagnoses & meds (i can manage the others) [ex. alzeheimers, DM, HTN, senna, pepcid, coumadin]. A letter or recommendation isn't worth what i'm putting into this. thanks.

Moving to Clinical Rotations as this concerns patient care and coursework (though technically an "internship," or clinical experience, prior to med school isn't an Allo topic. Residents can certainly post their responses there.

Tell you the words and abbreviations that people use in all of medicine... "routinely"... Really?
