Already submitted AMCAS and have started submitting a few secondaries. I meet all the letter requirements, but my PI offered to write me an LOR.
I initially didn't request a letter from my PI because of timing with AMCAS because it felt odd to ask for a LOR within a few months of starting. But now that I have been working with him I do think his letter would be beneficial to my application since he has seen my work in a research setting as well as in his clinic interacting with patients and staff.
Should I rush the letter and hold off on secondaries? Or would sending the letter with an update I am anticipating to send if an MS I have been working on is accepted be a valid option?
haha, I apologize for the slight neuroticism. but I really appreciate any thoughts!
