Didn’t notice the CRNA pay, But that’s not all that surprising to me
The Nurse Corps and the CRNA’s did an incredibly good job (depending how you look at it) at selling themselves for doing unsupervised anesthesia in a deployed environment. As in they almost completely took that mission away from anesthesiology.
Historically, the Army Medical Corps has always had to sell itself to the line. The nurses ‘won’ that one.
