What is your mission as a physician? Hpw does it match with the missions of the schools you are considering?

I get the impression Texas is very military friendly in general.
I have a few areas that would be fulfilling for me:
(1) chronic illness: stemming from some more recent family trouble involving strokes/Alzheimer's/diabetes etc.;
(2) rural medicine: mostly due to being from a community with limited access to healthcare and that resonates with me greatly;
(3) though not something I put at the top of my list at the moment, I'd be kidding myself if I said helping fellow veterans/service members isn't something I'd seriously consider in the future.

I am aware most it not all of these fall in line with a lot of schools in state to some degree. I suppose I just wanted some feedback as far as my chances (stat-wise) with them as well as some other OOS schools/DO schools that are worth looking into.
