cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS
3.93 cGPA and 3.89 sGPA, graduated May 2022
MCAT score(s) and breakdown:
507 (127/125/128/127), tested 5/13/22. I might retake this year
State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US): AZ
Ethnicity and/or race: Asian-Indian
Undergraduate institution or category: Large state school in AZ
Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer):
223 volunteer hours total
160 hours of hospital volunteering
40 hours free health service organization that is a tri-university partnership between my university, the state MD school, and another university
23 hours Global Medical Brigade - Telebrigade

500 hours as a paid medical scribe for a pulmonologist and sleep specialist (started Aug 2021)
Research experience and productivity:
100 - 150 hours since Aug 2021, wrote a literature review for my honors thesis, continuing this in my gap year. The research is on coronavirus vaccines and my honors thesis was on the same topic. I am assisting a grad student and learning various lab techniques from them.
Shadowing experience and specialties represented:
~ 50 hours Dr. Gray's virtual shadowing
40 hours of In-person shadowing: Neurosurgical oncology, Trauma and burns, gastroenterology, anesthesiology, plastic surgery on a breast cancer patient, and cardiology
Non-clinical volunteering:
~45 hours of Food bank volunteering (stopped due to schedule changes)
~40 hours of 7 cups volunteering (started this June)
Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc):
640 hours Biology TA job
70+ hours of club leadership of the academic-service club I founded with another student. Moved from being a Vice-president to a President
~40 hours of club leadership of a religious club (Hindu club) as a board member. I am not sure if I should put this on my app since anything religious is deemed sensitive, even though we just organized the cultural festivals and invited guest speakers.
Hobbies: 200+ hours in both cricket and chess. Have been doing these since childhood, but never pursued them on a professional or competitive level.
Relevant honors or awards:
Provost's scholarship and other grants based on FAFSA for all four years of undergrad
Dean's list all 8 semesters
Moeur Award for those graduating on top of the class with a 4.0 GPA. I got many A+s, so my university considers my GPA to be 4.0
Featured on a college recruitment brochure for being a good student in terms of academics and ECS, although I am not sure if this is important to put on the app (I welcome any feedback)
Anything else not listed you think might be important:
I am a disadvantaged applicant with a pretty low income and received FAP as well. I have a unique story about moving from India to the US while being a US citizen and navigating the premed journey on my own, while my family struggles to put food on the table.

School list:
UA Phoenix
UA Tucson
SLU
Creighton
University of Louisville
Albany
Tulane
MCW
TCU
Temple

I would like to add more schools if possible, so I would appreciate any help with that

Louisville admits very few non residents with your MCAT of 507 and no connection to the state. SLU and Creighton are looking for applicants with many more hours of non clinical volunteering and clinical exposure than you have. You could add these schools:
Oakland Beaumont
NOVA MD
Wake Forest
Virginia Commonwealth
Drexel
Penn State
Jefferson
Hackensack
New York Medical College
Albany
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Also apply to DO schools and I suggest these:
AZCOM
TUNCOM
ATSU (both schools)
KCU-COM
DMU-COM
MU-COM
ACOM
UIWSOM
CUSOM
WVSOM
PCOM
NYITCOM
Touro-NY
WESTERN
TUCOM-CA

Thank you for the help, I liked the list you made @Faha

I shadowed at Louisville, so I was thinking that could be favorable, and I loved that school tbh, but I understand not having strong ties could be a deal-breaker, so I will rethink my decision. Also, I am aware of my weak non-clinical volunteering, so I will work on that this year. I was wondering what else I could do to gain enough clinical experience to be considered competitive for SLU and Creighton.

For SLU and Creighton another 200+ hours of non clinical volunteering and 200+ hours of clinical volunteering before you submit your application (NOT projected hours).
