Applying in 2024 - 2025 cycle, these are my stats so far. I have a passion for computional (particularly applying machine learning to longitudinal data), and clinical research. I will only apply MD/PhD to schools that closely align with my research interests, as I can always collaborate on research in my network otherwise. I’m nervous about my low GPA — are there any other schools I should (re)consider? Are there other ways I can strengthen my application?

@Mr.Smile12 Thank you for reviewing my profile! I made some alterations that you suggested, and added a handful more schools that are publishing research that I’m interested in.

Good luck! But make it clear you want to be a physician, not a research assistant. You are not there to explore your research interests, so be ready to dump the prospect of working in those labs on a dime. Otherwise, you should apply to their MS or PhD programs outside of AMCAS (possibly using BioMedCAS).
