Tell us about interprofessional opportunities and how you are treated by the medical students.

at WesternU we have a joint curriculum with the DO students along with our specialized Podiatry courses taught by different Podiatrists. It's amazing to have both large lectures with the DO students and smaller lectures with just our pod classmates!
We take an interprofessional course with students from many other programs such as DO, Optometry, Veterinary, Nursing, PT, PA, & Dental; which is a great way to socialize & learn more about each profession since we will be interacting with most of these health care fields sometime in our careers!
