Apply to all the Texas schools for MD and at least 10 DO schools. If you are applying for 2016 you should be submitting your application this month.

DO is looking real solid just about anywhere except for those with strong regional biases.

Let's see what happens with the Texas MD's. It won't be easy and is hard to say but 3.5/28 has gotten in some in the past. Apply early, apply to all except the ones like Baylor, and give it a go. Wouldn't be a surprise if you got a II or two.
