What MCAT score to shoot for?

Hey all,

My AACOMAS cGPA is 3.02 and sGPA is 3.20. This is after some grade replacement.
I have humble ECs, need to shadow, have 2 good LoRs - But working on this part of the app

What do you say? MCAT score that would get me in as is?

30+ ideally 31-33. GPA's are very low, even for DO (especially with grade replacement)

High 20s. Anything >30, even better.

45! set that bar high!

but to be realistic, with that low of a sGPA and cGPA i'd say you need to hit the 30+ mark to be in the "safe zone"...otherwise you're chances will diminish fairly quickly once you start getting further away from the 30 mark with that GPA

Thanks for replying. I hope I can hit the 30+ range, I know I can do it, I just need to be really disciplined. I do plan on taking O. Chem 2 as well as some retakes, so hopefully that will give me the jump I need regarding my GPAs. Planning to register for the MCAT soon...wish me luck!
