Withdrawal advice

I am currently taking 2 core science prereq's with labs, and Introduction to Business as an elective. I recently accepted a position in a research lab at school, and am wanting to drop my business class in order to make more time to study for the DAT. This would result in a W on my transcript.

I dont want this to be a red flag next year when I apply, but am not sure how much this will affect my application. Any advice??

Withdrawing from a class before your college's add/drop deadline will not look bad on your application.
