I was a state school where I took general bio and gen chem. I then transferred to a liberal arts college (they did not accept my classes) and had to take general bio and gen chem again. They are weed out courses so only 50% of the people remained in the classes. Needless to say I got As at the state school and b and c at the school I transferred to. Would both of them count towards my science GPA since they are pretty much the same class?

Some schools (DOs I believe) will do "grade replacement" where courses that are retakes will replace lower grades. AMCAS, however, will include all of your courses taken and all of them will factor into your GPA.

DO schools take the most recent grade.
