once verified, I would apply to at least 15 schools. Submit secondaries ASAP once verified. you should get in somewhere, but your choices may be limited. Do not apply to any of the Touro's, AZCOM, or CCOM.

Also don't apply to any DO schools that have regional preference (unless you live in that region). So schools like UNECOM, OU-HCOM, MSUCOM, TCOM, PNWU etc.

Also, submit at least 15 DO secondaries. Your chances are not great even at low tier new DO schools so you need to hedge your bets by submitting a lot of secondaries.

Make sure you use the time between now and November to get some DO shadowing experience and get a DO Letter of recommendation,
