What kind of radiation precautions do you take for Xofigo? Would a glove be able to block the alphas?

Yes. It's less precautions than strontium/samarium which are beta emitters and can have 1 cm of penetration. Xofigo is an alpha-emitter, so it's more like several microns which in theory could be stopped by the layers of dead skin cells on your body, for the most part.

Thus it also has less penetration into the marrow than the beta-emitters and hence has a better hematologic toxicity profile, in theory (I've seen counts tank even on Xofigo, but only in a situation when the pt had a lot of XRT all over as well as previous taxotere).
