Can anyone learn the hand skills needed to be a surgeon or is it more of an innate talent.

First grade Surgeons : Born Surgeons

Second grade Surgeons: They are surgeons who acquire the skills all their life and become better surgeons before retiring!

Third grade surgeons: They will never become Surgeons!

The Chairman at my school says that about every 5-10 years one person comes along who has a special, innate gift for surgery. Everyone else has to work to develop the manual skills, the understanding of tissue planes, and the grace of surgery.
