A Little Confused about a requirement!

ok, i took Calculus I freshmen yr of college, but a med school i want to attend requires 6 hours of math...sooooo would a med school consider retro crediting or do i have to take statistics (or some other math class?) ?? it's a little confusion, but any help will do.. thanks sdn

Some schools require a year of calculus specifically, others are okay with a year of "math". No school is going to "retro-credit" or waive this kind of requirement -- you generally will need to satisfy their requirements. If your target schools are okay with it, I would suggest that statistics will be far more useful to your medical career than the next semester of calculus. But check with them.

Take another math class
 
Yeah, take statistics. However, make sure than none of your schools require a full year of calc.

they recommend a calc course (so im guessing a semester)...but yeah, im going to take a math course in my last yr (plan is before matriculation)
