do they only send them out on dec 1st or can they come later this month too? I had an early interview on sept. 9th so i was hoping to hear from them yesterday...nothing yet
I looked on the forum for last year's class and it looks like the first pick of people got their acceptance letters on December 1st or December 2nd and MUSC sent them out on Novemeber 30th. It also looks like some people got them later on in the month and even up until February. I think rejections go out in mid-February!
I am getting very anxious! This is no fun!

My interviewer was on the admissions committee and said they only accept about 20 people the first day so don't be too worried. Still plenty of time left, one of the dentists I shadow didn't get accepted until March!do they only send them out on dec 1st or can they come later this month too? I was hoping someone (or many) students could give me some advice about the living situations around the campus. One of the things that attracted me to MUSC was the town. I like the old architecture and walkability of the downtown area. I have read some threads about certain places to live and so on, however what I am looking for is someone who maybe went to College of Charleston and has lived downtown for many years. If you can help me out I would appreciate it. PM me if you can because I have specific questions about the town. I thank you in advance.

To any one out of state with questions about housing:
The thing about Charleston is that the nice areas and not so nice areas are all close together. I suggest planning a little weekend to look for places near MUSC and to get familiarized with the area before you come to school. One of the best ways to find a place is to walk or ride around and look for "for rent" signs. Another extremely helpful site is Craigs list. You can visit the website before you come to set up some viewings. Just bring a buddy because any one can post on the site.
The Ashley Avenue 100 and 200s and Bee St are very close to school, filled with students and run in the 600-800 range.
Finally, MUSC has listings and I would definitely contact them for help.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

It depends a lot on who you get. They had like 20 different people doing interviews. One of mine was a retired dentist/professor and talked about himself most of the time, but asked the basics. My second was even better, an education specialist, who asked the basics but was really nice and enthusiastic. My friend got asked if you had 3 wishes what would you wish for.... and I have heard if you were a cartoon who and why..... Also, I think they like if you have questions prepared because it shows you have been preparing. Other than that you get lunch and a tour.Hey guys, I've got an interview this Friday at MUSC for the 2013 school year. What should I expect at the interview? Do I need to prepare myself for any certain questions?
