I brought home a new painting today. It somewhat resemble the original still life. I tell people it's abstract.

Jeez, thats no fun. 👎 By that logic, they should automatically ban people who have more than 10k posts.
Anyone a good auto mechanic? Think I'm going to be doing a complete restoration on a 1972 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. I've never worked with cars before besides changing oil and tires. Should be fun.

It's not as time-consuming as you might think. A couple of minutes here and there...usually while doing something else (I'm watching TV while I type this).
Besides, I have more free time now than I did as a med student or resident. 😉

Only problem is, now, my computer and my TV are not next to each other, but opposite sides of the room.
So, I have to turn my head to the right on occasion, and it starts to strain.
And, because of LASIK, also, it strains my eyes sometimes now, too (after looking at the computer screen).
I think you are in the WRONG profession then hon 😉
Well...I said "if" I'm barefoot and pregnant then I would require a career change.
Not there yet 🙂.
Well, I'm not going to a mechanic. I figured that I'd learn as I go. Plus I got a couple of truck-saavy friends that I can question. On top of that there's an Internet forum much like this one but dedicated to land cruisers.
