Clinical experience is one of those unwritten requirements, along with community service and shadowing. If you've had any patient contact at the pharmacy window, that could possibly be considered clinical experience, but if you don't get some type of direct patient contact, in a clinical environment, going soon, your application will be severely disadvantaged. Even so, 7 additional months worth before you apply, may not be enough, despite your terrific GPA and MCAT.

You will need the clinical volunteering experience. But other than that the rest of your application is amazing. Community service is another that will be quite important.

And leadership roles will also be important, you have a year, and if you can get something under your belt, you will be in very very very good shape.

You have nice numbers, but lack many of the basic ECs to back them up. It would be nice if you could shadow at least one more doctor, one in primary care if possible. You have research, but we can't tell how substantive it is by your comments, which is important if you'll be applying to the most-selective schools (that tend to be research giants). I agree with your need for more face-to-face patient contact than you may have gotten in the pharmacy. Leadership and teaching are good to have.

You have no nonmedical community service? Did you just decide to look into going to med school? Have you met with a premed advisor? How much of this can you reasonably get done before the summer's application season starts?
