What is your favorite looking pill?

I like the Protonix Pill. It looks like a little light brown football.

I'm working in a hospital pharmacy as a summer intern, and for some reason I think that Prevacid has the best looking pill. It's the first pill that I've been able to recognize on sight.

Either brand Klonopin or a Vitamin D cap.

Tessalon Perles (benzonatate), no question the most asthetically (sp) pleasing, but damn are they hard to keep on the tray and count!

Prometrium, brand name Valium, tessalon pearls, macrobid, ah the list goes on...

I have to go with brand Valium too... I've always wanted to string the Valium tablets together through the little "v" holes (which almost looks like a heart!) and wear it as a necklace. When I get stressed, I'll just take a bite out of my necklace!

Prevacid, Valium, Adipex, Lortab, Bentyl, and Vitamin D. Oh, and Nuprin - little, yellow, better.

I like Keflex, brand name Glucophage, Armour Thyroid.....

Best smelling right?

Yummy! Glucophage smells the best - pillwise, at least. For some REALLY [sarcasm]pleasant[/sarcasm] drugs, I suggest any IV cephalosporin (ceftazidime or cefepime in particular) or acetylcysteine.

Most interesting pill appearance.... Ecstacy.

premarin....they look like m&ms

definitely Colace/Doc-Q-lace/docusate.....even though they are stool softeners. I usee to collect rocks as a kid and they remind me of polished crystals.

digoxin are pretty too!

Marinol looks so yummy.

Donnatal Standard Tablets (circa 1972). It was a rainbow-colored tablet, and one of the most distinguishable pills in its day.

I just got off a 14 hour shift at the 'ol hospital, my mind's going a little 'funny.'

Oh, and as for the question, I'd go with Tessalon Perles. They are so perfectly round, it's like voodoo.

Terazosin is up there with benzonatate - hard to keep on the tray though. Macrobid reminds me of a bumblebee. I also kinda like the Buspar bars. Anything that is an osmotic pump tablet awes me - look at that tiny hole! And I like the pretty colors in the amylase....ok I am a total pharmacy geek.

We joke about having a valium lick, like a salt lick, at the pharmacy for nurses to nip before they bombard us with evil looks. I can see how a similar product would be most helpful in a retail setting as well. We could place a decoy near the lick and.....

Benicar gets my vote for best-smelling. Buttered popcorn anyone?

What's your favorite suppository? These "Rectal Rockets" look neat!



umm...actually, maybe we shouldn't "go here"....carry on with the pills.

Any suppository not intended for me is my favorite.

I always liked the Antivert 12.5mg tablet. It was half & half blue and white.
They always looked like little bitty tennis shoes to me.

two thumbs up for Dilantin 50mg. Smells like peppermints

for some reason a tray full of dexamethasone/decadron tabs give me a craving for chicken and stars soup

The hot pink Zinc Sulfate. I work in a hospital pharmacy and when we were not busy, I asked the other 2 techs with me this question. It was funny, we went around the pharmacy picking out cool looking pills. The Pharmacist got intrigued and pitched in a few times. After a while, the Question switched to the most boring looking pill.

Uroxatral - they look like little vanilla creme cookies. Worth it to open a full bottle just for a peek.

Prevacid 15mg - pink and aqua, very Barbie. I think they made the 30mg pink and black for the less effeminate.

Levoxyl - bowties (well, almost)! Now, because of their old ad, they really remind me of that old man with glasses who boogies on the Six Flags' commercials.

Maxzide - more bowties!

Prinzide - shaped like old bottle caps. Very cute.

everytime i go into work, i have to smell the erythromycin es suspension. it smells different to me each time: dr. pepper, root beer, orange tropical punch....i remember taking it as a kid and loving it!!

I like Prevacid & Premarin & Tylenol 8 hour Geltabs

you should try chemet, and metforming xr 500mg best aroma ever, anyway my favorite pills are most pnv,cos they really smell so good, specially cal-nate and natalcare plus, mmmmmmm yogurt.

speaking of aromas, Benicar smells like butter - the artificial kind that goes on popcorn at the movies.

Man, they're missing out! I'm surprised it doesn't smell like butter outside the bottle! The aroma is so strong that the minute you open the cap you can smell popcorn in the air!

I agree with whoever posted about Uroxatrol-although, I think they're more like hamburgers!!

Also, that Verelan PM that is pink and purple is pretty...

looking at those ecstasy pages are funny/scary. Theres lots of random stuff in those pills. I feel especally bad for the kid that gets the pill that only has zolpidem in it. Talk about ruining a fun night.

On my favorite pill, i like the avanida "tilt-tabs" for their funny name and shape. I want to patent a cube shaped tablet and call it a cublet.

Just keep in mind that the pills that people are most likely to mail in and pay to get tested are the ones that people think the day after "That wasn't ecstasy", and they want to get it tested. No one is going to mail in the pills that they feel were the greatest ever

As well, that Zolpidem pill is automatically suspicious due to its rather bland design and colour , its low weight (only 74mg, factoring in binders and such, that would be a very weak dose) and its small size.

Thats using logic. I didnt even think about pill size and weight. What is a standard dose of MDMA?

Well, its definitely going to vary pill to pill, batch to batch, but here's a rather authoritative source:

What I'm really more surprised about is the multiple substances in some of the pills, though almost none of the stuff looks to be really dangerous except in high doses.
