One method that may work is to read the questions first, THEN scan the passage for key words that were within the question stems. For example, if a question asked about odontoblasts and their relationship to tooth development, you would scan the passage for the word "odontoblast." Paragraphs are organized in a specific manner, so likely everything related to odontoblasts will be included in the same paragraph. You must be very attentive/focused for this method. I finished with ~5-mins to go.
Think of it this way. You WILL second guess yourself [to make sure you read the passage correctly] if you read the passage first and then go to the questions. Save yourself the time and trouble and read the passage with a goal in mind--i.e. reading for key words.
