As I am a junior, I normally would be applying Summer of 2008 but since I switched my major halfway through I cannot take the MCAT until Spring of 2009 because I won't have organic chem yet (and the micro classes and biochem ill take that year will help to). Thus, I am taking the MCAT in Spring 09 and applying Summer 09 to matriculate in Fall of 2010
Hey, we'll be in the same graduating class! Where do you want to go to med school? I mean, I know you'll probably be applying lots of places, but what are your top choices?
I'm applying in 2009 and hopefully matriculating in 2010.
oooh, any more feedback?

LoL 😀 Yup, me too! We're going to rock this cycle, even though it's up to 162 now!Sweet, I'm only applying with 155 others this year. That means I have a good chance of getting in, right? Right?!....🙄
Yeah... I have the same issue =pI'm only applying with 23 others. I'm like.. guaranteed to be a doctor!
p.s. how come my signature only shows up like 1/2 the times i post?
p.s.s. i love how it shows up after i edit
It appears that your sig only shows up in your first post on a particular page in a thread. So if you make like 3 posts on the same page in a thread, only the first one with display your signature. I don't mind it - some people have pretty big signatures, and they can take up major space in a thread if displayed in every single post.Yeah... I have the same issue =p

i cant apply for allopathic this year but i can apply to osteopathic.
so i voted for next year because i think i want to apply to both of them at the same time to see where i can get in with all options open.
ps: the reason i "cant" apply allopathic is because i feel its a bit late in the application cycle to have a 3.61 GPA, 3.83 BCPM taken seriously....and on top of that i dont even know how i performed on the MCAT till sept 12th.
i think its best to use the time to get lots of volunteering and medical experience under my belt.
You mean "mich auch", right?Ich auch. 🙂
