It sure is nice to be off of the rollercoaster for a while, isn't it? The difference between how I was feeling yesterday afternoon and this morning is ridiculous.

And good luck to everyone still waiting - I know how nerveracking this thing is. I've got my fingers crossed for you guys.

Sept 13th, but I know they had some questions about my coursework a couple of weeks ago (we emailed back and forth a bit) so I'm hoping that that's why I didn't hear right away, that my file was put before the commitee later b/c of that. I'm REALLY hoping that they aren't going to sit on it until I get my grades in for this term (I was 0.7 credits short on chem credit, but my grades honestly are decent), b/c if I have to wait till Dec, I may develop an ulcer.

Got the letter today. On the waitlist at GWU...sigh. Well, I love VCU too, it's just that it's 120 miles away.

After I called EVMS and was told I would get an acceptance letter, I felt like I was floating. We are going to be doctors! 🙂 And how terrific that Case Western has shown such early love to us non-trads. Maybe we will be classmates, guys/gals!

Along with a big envelope from Tufts, I got a waitlist letter from UVa today. Ah well... I am so happy that I don't mind.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy! I was jumping up and down yelling in glee when my sister opened my mail over the phone today to tell me. I'm in vermont for my UVM interview (had it today), and I'm sure the other people at the b&b wondered why I was shouting and jumping up and down in the yard with my dog. *achem*

I just wanted to congratulate all of you. Reading this thread gives me hope for when it comes my time to apply. I am at the beginning of my post-bacc program, but reading these posts makes me so excited about what is to come. Good luck with the rest of your interviews. I am sure many of you will continue to get the acceptance letters and then face the toughest question of choosing where you will go.

Heheheh. Thanks! I am feeling unbelievably fortunate. And it still seems like just yesterday that I was wondering whether med school was even a remote possibility for me. Hellz yeuh! 😀 My mother is really enjoying her "I told you so's" now. Well, after I first convinced her I wasn't too old. Ever since then she's figured that my getting into med school was a given. I'm am incredibly relieved she was right.
