Got an email saying that I'm complete. I'm surprised that theres nothing going on in this thread..
Well there were no essays (love it!) so not much to discuss in this thread. I submitted via snail mail 7/18, got the complete email 7/21, and was invited for interview 8/12, hope that's informative for some people 😎
ItsPat what date are you scheduled to interview and where? I'm gonna be at Camden on 9/12 at 2:00 p.m. Just curious and GOOD LUCK!
Mine's in New Brunswick on 11/7. I pushed it back so late because I'm aboard now and scheduled some time in November to go back. Good luck to you too!!!
anyone interview with RWJMS yet? id like to hear how it went! my interview is next week! very excited! i recently interviewed at NJ Med and it was a great experience. hopefully RWJMS will go as well! good luck everyone!!
Congrats to anybody who has an interview invite from this or any other school so far!
Remember to post them on the interview invite threads 🙂 It's helpful for other SDN members, not only this year but also in the future!
Thanks!

just to give other OOS applicants a heads up. they won't process our applications until like later in the cycle. i called and was told that even though i was complete in july they want to look at most of the IS applicants first.
thanks! One less school to worry about for now
I've been complete 8/15 and I have an interview next week.
But I'm NJ resident.

So the instructions say not to include "application materials such as letters of recommendation or transcripts along with the application fee."
However, I've got some activity-related updates (not on my primary) of which I'd like to make them aware. What's the best way to do that? Email it to them? Put a document in with the application fee since it isn't technically "application materials?" Has anyone else dealt with this?

I used the address they gave for sending LORs (which looks like the main admissions office address). Since those are supposed to go into your file, I figured that whatever else I sent there had a chance of getting into the file also.
Accepted this morning via email

So I have very basic stats for RWJ as an in-state student.
Last year, it seemed like there were ~1250 in state applicants, ~450 interviews, and ~140 in state matriculants. [This is according to the stats on an SDN member's sweet school selector spreadsheet - don't have MSAR]
Does anyone know, however, how many interviewed students were accepted? I'd go there in a heartbeat.
Thanks yall

has anyone called the admissions office to check on their app? (are they receptive to status check calls after you've been marked complete?) Thanks!
I called a while back and they were friendly. The person who answered told me I'd hear something pretty soon and I got an interview shortly thereafter.

Yay!! I was just accepted by phone. Definitely one of my top choices and great location for me. I interviewed exactly 6 weeks ago so I cannot confirm the on-the-spot acceptances.

How long after you called did you receive your interview? I called maybe 2 weeks ago and she told me the same thing, but I haven't heard anything.
Were there a lot of OOS students at any of your interview days? I know they said they wait until January or so before they look at most OOS applicants but I was just wondering..

It was probably a week or two later but I was told it was that fast only because they had someone cancel and I was on the list for an interview sometime in the future.

I went for my interview on a Monday and did not see any other interviewees. It seems like they only have lots of interviewees together for the Thursday and Friday Lunch sessions.

wait you were the ONLY interviewee for the day. like in the morning did you have an orientation or a financial aid session or anything. and you were the only person 😱
to answer OOS questions. on the interview invite list OOS people have already received invites. so i think they have already looked at them and passed over most including me

It's not like that, the interview is just an interview. In and out in ~1 hour. No financial aid or orientation stuff. They offer an info session on Thursdays and Fridays that you can call and sign up for once you have an interview invite.
Had my interview at 9am on the Camden campus with the Dean of students. Loved the school, and interview went really well. He said they meet every other week to decide acceptances, and the next meeting is the 23rd. Hopefully I can get into that decision pool. I'll definitely go here if accepted, the price tag and curriculum combination is amazing.

Is anybody interviewing on January 9th?
I haven't heard of the reception on January 9th, what's it all about? I won't be able to attend...but should I have been invited?
It's for accepted students to meet with current students and faculty. I think it is like a second look even though is seems quite a bit earlier than most other second looks. I will be there and thought maybe I'd see some other SDNers there.
Anyone who was accepted:
What time did the phone call come? Or does anyone know what time the committee meets? My interviewer said he was going to try to get me into this review session...so just curious how long I should neurotically sit by my phone. Thanks.
