Hey everyone, I came across this website trying to figure out which schools to apply to. As a disclaimer I don't know if the information is still accurate but the website was updated in 05. It has a list of all schools and how they treat Internationals. http://www.fiu.edu/~preprofc/International_Students_School_Policies.htm

Hope this helps. Good luck !

Finding a list with how each US med school views international applicants is very helpful. I see it includes both MD and DO schools. Thanks for sharing.

That list didn't really help at all for me. It's depressing and the general idea is that you have to pay full tuition. Some schools may ask to pay full tuition for 4 years or something like that. But that's very very rare.

Look at MSAR, look at international interview rates, and then apply. That's what I did. I applied to 30+ schools, and I'm doing well so far with the interview invites.

Good luck!

PS: your list looks almost identical to mine.

wow what a sad fact. The acceptance rate is so low.

I'm curious. Is the acceptance rate so low because there aren't enough applicants, because foreign applicants can't meet requirements for some reason, or because, simply, medical schools don't want too many foreign matriculates?

It's about no federal funding!
