We won't hear back until 4-6 weeks after being interviewed, correct?

At least.
It really depends on the school, and many programs only have their committee meet once per month or less.

Some schools tell you the next week though, if you got in. It really varies by school.

Do you know which ones have done this in the past??

I can't remember off-hand, but I remember reading on one website that whichever school I was looking at would call you the next week if you got accepted, email you if you got waitlisted, or send you a snail mail if you got rejected hehe .

So the first day is coming up pretty quickly...
I wonder if any potential MudPhuds will get acceptances tomorrow or later this week? Hoping for all of you!! (I'm pretty sure my decisions, good and bad, won't come until much later)

edit: To contribute, I think Hopkins doesn't send out letters until January.. so that should be a long time. Also, A&M should let me know sometime this month (maybe), and I have no clue at all about Dartmouth. We shall see!

Oh, and Case MSTP is interviewing about 15 people this week! Pretty big interview..

They had earlier interviews this year because they had a lot of applications. They typically start 11/15, apparently, but they have two earlier groups now.

Does UT Southwestern award acceptances from now? I thought they have an additional candidate review in february.

It's a 2nd look. You may be thinking of Baylor. They have a candidate review (I think in March).

OK I probably misunderstood what they're saying in the interview invite email, cause they mentioned that I should get notification whether I will be offered a second visit invite directly or shortly after the interview (which I assumed it means that this is not an acceptance). That's good though, cause you know whether you're accepted or not directly after the interview. (congrats btw).
