does it say "waiting for transcripts" for everyone even if AMCAS already has all your transcripts?

i just submitted but it says waiting for transcripts? does that wording simply mean it's waiting for verification?

I will be applying June 25th. Will this be considered "late?" Any idea how many weeks it will take to be verified at that point?

If anyone wants to finish the 2008 data and start collecting on 2009, let me know and I will give you ownership of the data. Also, if someone gets verified in 1 day, they are probably EDP applicants and will get priority at any time during the process. Leave them out of the data for a smoother curve.

Just a question...are you guys who are getting verified today EDP applicants? I'm not and I was curious if I would get verified today too.

I am not an EDP applicant...I submitted and within two hours received notice that my processing was complete (AMCAS already had my transcripts earlier this month).

Yes, you can view the GPA breakdown by clicking the "Print Application" button on the main page. The chart that was blank prior to being verified should have your GPA listed.

how are they verified the same day?
 
"We are currently entering transcripts into the application that were received on 06.01.09. Please Note: Submission of the application will begin on or about June 2, 2009. Medical schools will begin receiving applications on June 24, 2009."

does this mean we can send in transcripts before we even submit the application????
