I'll post a little more extensively later (with categories):

Rheum
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Rheumatic Diseases Clinics of North America - Volume 33, Issue 3 (August 2007)
Auto-inflammatory Fever Syndromes Rheumatic Diseases Clinics of North America - Volume 33, Issue 3 (August 2007)

Critical Care/Endo

Diagnosis and Management of Bronchiolitis
Subcommittee on Diagnosis and Management of Bronchiolitis
PEDIATRICS Vol. 118 No. 4 October 2006, pp. 1774-1793 (doi:10.1542/peds.2006-2223)
It's a policy statement, but serves as a great review and I love the trend towards a little minimalism in it.

Nephrology
Consultation With the Specialist: Renal Tubular Acidosis Pediatr. Rev., Aug 2001; 22: 277 - 287.
Hematuria in adolescents Adolescent Medicine Clinics - Volume 16, Issue 1 (February 2005)
(Even though adolescent focused, very relevant across the age spectrum. Also I worked with Carrie Gordon up in Maine and she's very cool 🙂)

Immunology
Otolaryngologic manifestations of immunodeficiency Otolaryngologic Clinics of North America - Volume 36, Issue 4 (August 2003)
(A surprisingly good review. Very concise since it's geared outside of Peds, but actually isn't overly Oto focused)

Devo
The "Late Talker"—When Silence Isn't Golden Contemporary Pediatrics Nov 1, 2004
The Child Who Stutters: To The Pediatrician Revised 4th Edition available at http://www.stutterhelp.org/Default.aspx?tabid=12
(We sometimes don't think of it a lot, but some form of "stuttering" is developmentally appropriate in the early stages of language development. This is a nice review of normal vs. abnormal.)

So I'm probably stating the obvious here, but I'm posting because there are a lot of review resources, but even in one great resource (ex. Peds In Review), some articles are better than others. I'm just putting out some of my favorites (knowing how subjective this list is) if it helps anyone, and maybe to see what some others' faves are (I still try to keep up on some general peds).
So continuing...

(This might be "cheating" a little since some of the following are actually a chapter out of a book, but in spirit, they still serve as good (relatively) quick reviews)

Cardiology
The chapter on electrocardiography in Park's Pediatric Cardiology For Practitioners is probably the most concise but thorough review of pediatric ECG reading. Read it. Multiple times. It's available in full on mdconsult.com. This is also one of the best review texts for pediatric cardiology on the market.

The Physiology of Cardiac Auscultation Pediatric Clinics of North America - Volume 51, Issue 6 (December 2004)
(I like his older Evaluation Of A Pediatric Patient With A Cardiac Murmur from '99, but the above is more readily accessible in mdconsult)

Neurology
Chapter 16 Febrile Seizures out of Current Management in Child Neurology, Third Edition. 2005 Bernard L. Maria
When I Googled, I got http://web.squ.edu.om/med-Lib/MED_CD/E_CDs/CHILD NEUROLOGY/docs/ch16.pdf (CMCN is one of the best review texts for child neurology on the market IMHO)

Good stuff J-Rad, appreciate it.

I've just started keeping a list of good articles, and thought about starting a thread like this several months ago, but didn't feel like I had enough to really get people interested to share.

Infectious Disease
Pediatrics 2001;108;1169-1174
John T. Kanegaye, Peyman Soliemanzadeh and John S. Bradley
Pretreatment for Recovery of Cerebrospinal Fluid Pathogens After Parenteral Antibiotic
Lumbar Puncture in Pediatric Bacterial Meningitis: Defining the Time Interval

http://www.pediatrics.org/cgi/content/full/108/5/1169

Good article demonstrating just how quickly the CSF is cleared (hint: it's faster than you probably think) and why a tap needs to be before giving antibiotics.

Pulm
New England Journal of Medicine, issue date 1/19/1995
Asthma and Wheezing in the First Six years of Life.

Thanks.
Emergency/Critical Care
Goal-Directed Management of Pediatric Shock in the
Emergency Department
, Carcillo et. al. Clinical Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Volume 8, Issue 3, Pages 165-175 (September 2007)
A nice encapsulation of previous stuff Carcillo has written about in the past. Will lead to much banging of your head when the nurse wants to run the "bolus" over 30 minutes😉.

Thank you for this link... very helpful. I have a question.. Pediatrics in Review has really good cases under index of suspicion, are there other pediatric journals that have good pediatric case presentations like that?
Thankx....

Pediatric Annals has a good case presentation every issue (not my favorite throwaway mag, but I do usually like the cases).

Contemporary Pediatrics (one of my favorite throwaways) usually has a case in every issue.

Pediatric Infectious Disease (my other favorite throwaway. You start getting it in residency) usually has a decent case or two, usually ID related.

useful links, thanks alot

what about neonatology and endocrine

Anyone know of any websites out there that already have PDF versions of some of these articles compiled in one place? I ask because 1) I was thinking of doing it myself, and 2) I wanted to download some of them to my iPad

I was downloading from the journals themselves, but that's pretty slow (I don't have time) and I'd rather not reinvent the wheel if it's already out there.

A couple to add to this list that I've come across recently:
