With a 3.6/32/Asian/average EC's, LOR's, essays, etc./CA resident I knew I had to apply early and broadly to get in this cycle so I sent in my primaries to 30+ schools in early June, used old threads to prewrite secondaries and got my letters turned in early to be complete at most places by mid-late July.
August comes and goes.....no interviews invites
September come and goes.....no interviews invites
FINALLY today I check my email after lunch and find an interview invite from Hofstra. At first I'm ecstatic but then I find out when trying to schedule that the earliest date is in February. So now I'm a little subdued and I go on the Hofstra thread from this cycle and find this gem:
Seriously? Unless this school has an atrocious yield rate it looks like I have a < 25% of getting in. Compounding that with my late interview date and for all intents and purposes I'm fighting for a spot on the waitlist at best.

6000apps, 800 interviews, 60 class size I believe
