'04, '06, '09 NBDE Pilot exams

Our schools library has these pilot exams. I was comparing the '06 one to the release ASDA Testlet 1M and it looked like the questions were exactly the same?

Does anyone know what these pilot exams are or if the correspond to the ASDA Test packets, ie 1L to 04, 1M to 06, and 1N to 09? Not sure I understand the difference!

The pilot test packet is 1L -04 if iam not wrong.

I guess I am also confused because the 06 version at our library has 400 questions, the first 200 are exactly the same as packet 1-M when I looked at it. So why doesn't packet 1-M come with all 400 questions or whats the difference between the asda released exams and the "pilot exams"

All test packets from A to N are ASDA released papers .....its just that 1L 04 is known as the pilot test paper !
