So, this quarter was a rough one for me, and I ended up with a 2.5 in the last gen chem, and will likely get the same grade in physics. But what concerns me most is that I got a 1.7 in an upper division bio class. I already finished the intro bio series and I got great grades (always above a 3.8), and this upper division bio class is not a prerequisite for med school. But, I dont know whether I should retake it or not. I am a bio major, so I will be taking a lot more bio classes, but it is below a C grade, which I know is usually the cut off for retaking a class.
I dont need to retake it for any reason other than medical school. My major has no issue with it, and there would be no purpose in retaking other than to show med schools I can do better. So, do I retake it?
(Just to put this grade in context my GPA before this quarter was above a 3.85)
