1 day late for multiple acceptances?

Currently waiting to see if one school will match my merit scholarship from another. Have been calling/communicating all day. They are closed now, should find out tomorrow. This is pretty substantial in making my choice.

Is there any way I can safely hold out until tomorrow? If I email the other school I am waiting on and let them know the situation is this ok?

They 99% won't match anything, best to just make your choice and avoid any repercussions

I'd just like to update this for those of you in this situation in the future. I understand individuals on SDN wanting to be cautious, though I suppose I was hoping for more constructive advice!

I ended up emailing both schools explaining the situation just to be safe, I wasn't trying to "get one over" on the AAMC or anyone else - it was an honest decision that needed to be made.

In any case, my top choice ended up matching and exceeding with a 50% COA scholarship. If you're in my situation - try! If you've gotten a scholarship to one school call, email, and let the other know - it could change your life, literally.
