I have been complete at most schools since 8/28 and 9/15 (still not at hopkins though 🙁).
I have received 9 interviews out of approximately 23 schools that I applied to, which I am very happy about; however, there are still a few schools that I am really interested in that haven't responded. Since I have been complete for about 2 months, I am pondering sending a letter of interest with some updates of things I have been doing so far this semester. (Is this too soon?)
On the other hand, I could wait until semester grades roll around by ~January 1st, at which point I would have a very substantial LOI (since I will have done more with my other activities as well). Might this be too late to positively impact my chances? Of course, I could always send two update letters, one in a week or two and one in January.
What do you think the best way to positively impact my chances would be?
