1 question about how schools calculate GPA.

a) i noticed when you apply your C- or C+ = C...same thing with A's and B's. Basically, thats how the schools calculate your undergrad GPA. Is this true? If so, if i got a c- in a pre-req course, then would that be translated to a C? If it were then i would not need to retake it sin
ce it is a C (all pre-reqs need to get >C)?

I think most schools would do that. For me though, if that would have happened I would have had to retake it anyway since my undergrad school requires a 2.0 or better in major classes

It varies by school. My pre-req GPA has ranged from like 3.3 to 3.6 depending on how they calculate & what courses they look at.
