Hello all - I have been looking for the answer to this question for about 20 minutes now and I can't find it. So excuse me for being a dum dum, but is BU's program one year or two years? Also is there a lag year? I'm solely looking at programs for people that have taken the requirements, but would give you courses like those you would have in med school.

I guess more in general, which progams really let you apply straight from your post-bacc year (or during , I should say) into med school?

Many, many thanks in advance. 🙂

BU can be finished in one year. Some students do the program in two years.

I know some SDNers applied to med school this past cycle while attempting to finish the BU program in one year. Some of them have successfully matriculated to some other med schools and finished the BU program, but these people had pretty decent stats when they entered the program. Needless to say, these people didn't have a lag year.
