Hey guys, my DAT is in 10 DAYS!! For those of you that have written the DAT already, what should I do in the last 10 days? My studying has gone into over drive, where I start studying around 12:30, 1 pm, and go until about 1:30-2:00 am. I just finished Destroyer ORGO and GC for the second time (plan to go through it a third time), Im currently going through the Orgo Odyssey for the second time, and I do RC and MATH for 1 hour every other day, while doing PAT problems everyday. I just purchased Achiever, so I plan to finish those. Also, Im participating in the DATQVAULT beta version, so I have their practice orgo and gc problems as well. I go through ANKI every morning before I start to study Any advice would be great!
Also, on Achiever Test 1 I scored an 18 in BIO and ORGO, and a F-ing 15 in GC, but I've been doing pretty good on the GC section in Destroyer. I also took GC test 1 on DATQVAULT last night and scored an 18.

Don't worry about achiever. Everybody says that's MUCH harder than the actual DAT. Topscore is a better gauge of how well you'll do on the real DAT.

I think your plan to go through Destroyer a 3rd time is a good idea.

For my last ten days, here's what I did:

First five days: continued hardcore studying as I had been in the past weeks.
Next four days: Toned it down a bit and ONLY focused on what I was consistently having trouble with (by now, you should have that figured out...and start focusing on it).
Last day: Nothing. Relaxed...hung out with family, etc... I would cave in occasionally and peak at a formula or bio diagram here and there. But for the most part, I didn't do anything the day before the test.

The day of the test, I was really nervous...but trust me, you know more than you think you do.

Good luck we take the test on the same day. My sciences for achiever have been

BIO/Gen/Orgo
18 / 16 / 18 test 1

17 / 16 / 16 test 2 (getting stupider )

So don't feel bad your doing better than me. I haven't even finished destroyer yet its so freaking depressing to miss 40-50% of all the questions I attempt.

Keep working hard bro! My sleep/gym schedule is all F'd up because Im studying into the wee hours of the morning haha. Hang in there and finish hard!

Try and do timed sections of PAT, RCT, and QRT in one straight sitting EVERYDAY. Do it in this order; the order they appear on the test. Then go through 2 hours of bio, 2 hours of orgo, and 2 hours of g.chem a day.

My exam is in 9 days just like you, and this is what I'm doing.

I'll have to give it a try. I usually have my studying split into 3 day increments of orgo,bio, and gc, but with this last few week or so Im going to try and expose myself to as many practice problems as possible. I recently starting doing MCAT Orgo questions for practice, which actually weren't that bad at all.

During the last 10 days, I took topscore exams and reviewed them over again so I get a glimpse, or an understanding, of the wording of the exam or the difficulty. But most importantly, I wanted to destroy the Destroyer so I did it a few more times

Read on parts I was kind of iffy on to review, but mostly did problems.

I read Barron's yesterday and did both practice exams in the back of the book as well as most of the questions after chapters. All in all it was probably 400 questions and a brief chapter on every subject besides anatomy. I plan to study the skeleton, ear anatomy and brain anatomy and then re-do all the DATqvault tests as well as hopefully finish the DAT Destroyer bio. Bio is my weakest or 2nd weakest subject so I am probably doing more in the last week than a normal test taker.
