Hey everyone, I know the tutorial is a good opportunity to write down formulas, etc, on scrap paper. To those who have taken the test-any particular formulas you would recommend writing down? Anything in particular that one would forget/would struggle to remember during the pressure of the test? Thanks.

This quite clearly varies from person to person depending on their weaknesses and strengths.

Are you allowed to use the paper that you write on during a tutorial on your PS section? 😕

hell i didn't know we could do this? This for real? that could be great for PS.

and here i was planning on looking at cheatsheets during the breaks

For the 10 minute breaks-if we make it back a little later, say, 11 minutes or so, will the break screen still be there, or will the section start/timer start counting down for that section???

You can write during the tutorial. I wrote down several equations that I sometimes stumble on or get confused with.

I didn't need one single equation that I wrote down on the MCAT I sat for. Keep that in mind.

Yeah, I'm thinking that I won't need them on paper since I've done so many practice problems from my textbooks while taking the courses; I just automatically memorized them. I hope I don't forget them or hesitate under the pressure! Thanks for responding.

i'm up in canada and the WS means alot here (some schools cut offs are Q or R) so i was planning on using the time to write out the skeleton of my outline. Sure its a one minute job but never know what you can forget under pressure...........

How would you write an outline before seeing the prompt?

Don't let yourself get stressed over the WS before you even get up to it. Focus on the task at hand.

True. I just meant a skeleton as in what goes where. I've got a structure with certain things i like in certain paragraphs and just want to make sure i dont forget. I got 10 minutes....might as well use them no?

I am actually pretty good at not letting stress effect me day of the test. I will be a freaking mess the month before I'm sure though....but on game day I always enjoy the rush.
