Ross and Pawlina have a good book combining molecular biology and histology. I liked it for undergrad.

If you're trying to specialize in OMFS and waste your break/2nd semester of undergrad, just start studying for the medical boards. If you need to prestudy just to do well in dental school, I'm pretty sure you're going to get beaten out by people who don't need to do that and still make A's.
 
At Rutgers, we used Junqueira as well. Although to be honest, I haven't looked at a textbook all semester. If you're really eager to study something before school starts, familiarize yourself with gross anatomy, particularly of the head and neck. But if you can, try to enjoy yourself before the dental school avalanche begins!
 
Why do you want a book you're not going to look at again after you pass the course?

If you're going to ask for a book, get something in operative dentistry. Even fixed or perio. Endo
